Last night was our Scout Pinewood Derby...The whole process was amazing to me...
The son and Dad work on a design of the car...
Dad loses sleep over the paint job and weight of the car...
Oh wait just THIS DAD did that! :)
But it was all worth it...
As soon as Broc started racing his car backwards he was unbeatable!
The prayers and finger crossing didn't hurt a bit..
So intense!
And the VICTORY!
He even had his own cheering section (little brother..so proud of his big brother)
...and he was cheering!
Broc came away with 4th place..he won 4 out of 6 races!
If only we would have know his lucky charm was racing backwards in the 1st and 2nd race
he would've been undefeated!
