Summer=Swimming

So, last week we really made it summer at our house! We started out on Monday with a water party in the back yard. Tuesday we went down to Michelle's sister's apartment and went swimming at the funnest pool/splash pad. Friday we ended our week of water at the Washington City Community Center. Let me tell you it's worth the extra money they squeeze out of you and all the stinkin rules (yes I was a little bitter about a few things). First of all....they're slow at getting you in and give you no information about rules or even how to get in the dang place. They MAKE you buy a stinking "swim diaper cover" if you're child isn't potty trained. This goes OVER the actualy swim diaper. And those cost a pretty penny ($6). Of course they make you buy a swim diaper and we expected that, but apparently the swim diaper cover is a new law.....(end bitterness)...so, then we finally made our way through this HUGE hallway and asked for directions (it's that confusing)...and we were in the lockeroom...(with no baby changing area..oh yea...(NOW end bitterness)...Once you get in there and you learn your kids can't wear floaties...and get their stinkin life jackets on...it was AWESOME!!!! There is a shallow pool of water that the BIG "playground equipment looking stuff" sits. The slides have water coming down them and there's buckets of water pouring all over the place. It's amazing. There is also a kid area with two smaller water slides and a huge hydrotube. The lazy river is awesome too! Brayden (not even two, yet) was going down head first on the bigger water slides. {HIGHLY RECOMMEND} And I have no pics b/c I keep leaving my memory card in my computer.....

Sounds like it was fun minus the bitterness.:) I've wondered if it would be worthing taking the kids there.
